Communicator
The
MedScope Emergency Communicator is one of America's leading wireless
activated Personal Emergency Response Systems.
- Automatic
24-hour battery backup - The Medical Alert System will continue to work for 24 hours if you should lose electricity.
- Silent
automatic check-in - The system will automatically perform
a self diagnostic test every 7 days and report the system's
status. This feature is completely silent.
- Room temperature sensor -
Automatically activates the base unit and calls the medical alert response center if the room temperature rises above 105 degrees or dips below 38 degrees.
- DSL
Compatible - No need for an extra telephone line filter if you
should have a DSL internet connection in your home.
NOTE: This feature is only used IF you have a DSL internet connection in your home. DSL is NOT required for the system to function properly. If you do not have a DSL internet connection in your home, the system will work properly through your existing telephone line.

Transmitters
During an emergency, help is only a push
of a button away!
The transmitters are completely waterproof and
will reach up
to 800 feet from the Communicator unit (the
distance of a
standard cordless telephone). Each
transmitter has a life of
10 years or 50,000
activations. One transmitter is included
with each sytem. Extra transmitters are available.
MedScope Key Lockboxes
A lockbox offers a safe and
secure
  way to store a key outside of your front
door. This allows emergency personnel to easily gain access to
your home during an emergency.
With our lockboxes, you can
choose any 4-digit combination you wish. Simply let us know the
combination and we will notify EMS so they can retrieve the key.
These are offered in 2 styles - hanging (doorknob) or wall
mounted. Each carry a one-time charge of
$55.00.
